All rods are equipped with Hatch 7 or 9+ reels and Cortland Lines ranging from 380 to 600 grains in every sink rate to accommodate the fly, speed and depth needed for the day, As for the rods Chippewa River 2 pieces in 8, 10 and 12 wts as well an option for learning to overheard 2 hand with a Meiser.

Seasons: Pennsylvania has a year Musky season but we will typically experience a couple brief shutdowns during the heat in summer around July and August as well as occasional freeze ups come January, February and Early March. During the summer the Smallmouth action is at best and the weather makes for an enjoyable float. Prime Musky season will be April, May and June then fall season starts up late September and runs into through into late December depending on conditions.

The fleet is equipped with a couple of vessels to cater to your fishing needs. We have a 14 ft Crestliner, powered by a 15hp engine, which is perfect for navigating small lakes for Musky fishing and the slower parts of the river.
For float trips a Stealthcraft Hooligan Xl. Which are capable of handling 2 clients comfortablly for scenic river trips and shallow water . However, if you’re concerned about stability, it does have built in casting braces to keep you secure.
Before your trip, we’ll discuss the options for the day. If you prefer the stability of our aluminum drift boat over a raft, we’re more than happy to accommodate your preference. Just let us know your needs, and we’ll ensure your fishing adventure is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

When you book a trip with us, we require a 50% deposit to secure your date. The remaining 50% is due on the day of the trip. You can pay this balance in cash, by check, or we can charge the card used for the deposit.
If you need to cancel your trip, here’s what you need to know:
Please note that we run trips regardless of weather conditions. However, we reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unsafe conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel your trip, your deposit will be applied to a future date that we mutually agree upon.
Tipping:
While tipping is not mandatory or required, it is greatly appreciated. The average tip is 15-25% of the total trip cost. Your generosity helps us continue to provide high-quality fishing experiences.

Outdoor activities, including fishing, come with certain risks. While some risks can be mitigated or eliminated, others cannot be foreseen or entirely avoided. These risks may include, but are not limited to, bodily injury, dehydration, sunburn, death, drowning, insect bites, and falls due to rugged terrain or while boarding or disembarking boats.
By participating in this activity, you accept all responsibility for the risk of injury, death, illness, or any damage to yourself, your property, or others. In the event of injury or property damage, you agree not to make a claim or file a lawsuit against Urban Fly Company, its guides, contractors, representatives, or agents.
Before signing this liability waiver, you will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or limitations you may have with the owner/operator of Urban Fly Company.
You certify that, to the best of your knowledge, you have no physical restrictions that would prohibit your participation in any activities offered by Urban Fly Company. These activities may include, but are not limited to, fishing, hiking, boating, and consuming food or beverages provided by Urban Fly Company or its representatives.
You further certify that you have sufficient insurance to cover any bodily injury or property damage that may occur as a result of your participation. If you do not have insurance, you certify that you are capable of paying for any and all expenses and liabilities that may arise.
Urban Fly Company will provide Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) for you and anyone accompanying. These must be worn at all times on the vessel and in the launch area. Failure to do so is at your own risk. When in a motor boat under power, the appropriate PFD must be worn at all times without exception.
A physical copy of this liability waiver will be presented to you for signature prior to your guided fly fishing trip. Please read it carefully and make sure you understand its contents before signing.
